Position Summary We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled E-Commerce Product Photographer to own and execute our day-to-day product photography. This role is responsible for capturing accurate, true-to-life images of pre-owned luxury items, ensuring consistency, transparency, and efficiency across all shoots. You will work closely with the E-Commerce Studio Assistant and Creative E-Commerce Lead to manage shoot execution from setup through capture, with a strong emphasis on minimizing post-production through precise lighting, camera settings, and Capture One workflows. This position is full time and required to be in-person at our Irvine, CA office. Responsibilities In your role as E-Commerce Product Photographer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Photography Execution Capture high-quality product imagery (still life, mannequin, and on-model) with a focus on accuracy and true representation of condition Ensure color accuracy, texture detail, and visible wear are documented clearly and consistently Execute efficient, repeatable shooting workflows using Capture One Lighting & Technical Setup Set up and maintain studio lighting to achieve consistent, true-to-life results Optimize lighting setups to reduce the need for post-production editing Troubleshoot and adjust lighting and camera settings for different materials (e.g., leather, metals, fabrics) Capture One Workflow & Optimization Build and maintain Capture One presets and styles to standardize output Tether and manage live shooting sessions through Capture One Continuously refine workflows to improve speed and consistency Ensure files are captured correctly to minimize post-processing needs Studio & Equipment Management Maintain and organize all photography equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, backdrops, tethering systems) Ensure the studio is always production-ready Identify and recommend equipment upgrades or improvements as needed Collaboration Work closely with the E-Commerce Studio Assistant on shoot prep, execution, and file management Partner with the Creative E-commerce Lead to align on visual standards and creative direction Provide guidance and support to assistants during shoots Requirements Proven experience in product photography (e-commerce or studio environment preferred) Strong proficiency in Capture One (tethered shooting, presets, color management) Deep understanding of studio lighting and how it impacts product accuracy Ability to consistently capture true-to-life color, texture, and condition Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Experience maintaining and operating a full photography setup, including tethered Canon SLR cameras, studio lighting systems, backdrop equipment, and other job-required equipment provided by the company Nice to Have Experience photographing luxury goods or fashion accessories Understanding of how lighting affects different materials (e.g., patent leather, lambskin, hardware) Ability to create scalable workflows that reduce reliance on post-production Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for minor touch-ups when needed Compensation Range $65,000 - $80,000 annually, plus a competitive benefits package EEO Statement FashioNica provides equal employment opportunities to all Employees and applicants for employment without regard to race (including traits associated with race, such as hair texture and protective hairstyles), color, creed, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, and pregnancy-related conditions), gender, gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, religion, religious creed (including religious dress and grooming practices), age, disability, genetic information, military or veteran status, medical conditions, requests for statutory leave, or the intersection or combination of two or more protected classes, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
