Yes (Company Vehicle Provided) Shoob Photo South is seeking a Lead Photographer to photograph high school seniors, youth sports leagues, and school portrait programs throughout Central and Northern California. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable leading photo day operations, and can create a positive experience for students, athletes, coaches, parents, and school staff. The successful candidate will become one of the primary faces of our company in the field and will play a key role in our continued growth. What You'll Do Photograph high school senior portrait sessions Photograph youth sports leagues, team picture days, and individual athlete portraits Photograph school portraits, graduations, and special events Direct posing and expressions for students and athletes Lead photography events and maintain efficient workflow Communicate professionally with coaches, parents, school staff, and administrators Set up and operate photography, lighting, and computer equipment Transport equipment to and from photography locations Maintain Shoob Photo South's standards for customer service and image quality What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and attitude Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently Able to manage busy photography events with confidence Comfortable working with children, teenagers, and families Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50lbs and transport photography equipment Preferred Qualifications Portrait photography experience School photography experience Youth sports photography experience Experience using mirrorless camera systems Experience with studio lighting or off-camera flash Leadership or team management experience Schedule & Travel Photography schedules vary throughout the year based on school and sports seasons. Early mornings are common during school photography season Some evenings and weekends are required Travel assignments are generally within a two-hour radius of our studio A company van is provided for all work-related travel Work hours may vary depending on seasonal demand and client schedules Why Join Shoob Photo South?
