Job Description

Spaceflight Talent for Youtube Show Cocoa, FL 32924 Up to $100 a day - Part-time, Contract, Freelance Up to $100 a day - Part-time, Contract, Freelance Overview Orbital Edge is seeking passionate space and science communicators to help deliver the space news on a new anchor style show. Priority will be given to women in STEM as we are pushing for a diverse organization. Full shows are around 2 hours to shoot. If you ever wanted to be on a fun show about space, this is the only place on Youtube.

You are looking for an income stream - This is paid for fun and your resume building portfolio You cannot speak dynamically and with passion/excitement in front of a camera. Core Requirements Must have open availability which include late afternoons. Hate mornings? So do we! Ability to talk space on the spot Willing to be in-studio at the Cocoa Public Library until a new permanent studio is procured. Must have a laptop or tablet capable of Zoom calls, Google Docs & Slides, and to bring to show shoots Skills Needed On Camera Experience for organic audiences on social media or higher Moderate knowledge of spaceflight & NASA Basic Journalism Camera etiquette Research and fact finding Additional Requirements You are what makes OEN as an organization - If we all chip in we all win Patreon members tend to donate to those who have initiative You will research, write, and collaborate with others on the team to complete your space news segments and short form videos.
