We specialize in cinematic sports photography and high-volume event media coverage that helps athletes feel seen, respected, and remembered. Our goal is bigger than simply taking photos. We are building a modern sports media brand centered around storytelling, human connection, and creating powerful visual experiences for strength athletes across the country. From first-time competitors to national champions, every athlete deserves to feel legendary when they step onto the competition floor.•

ABOUT USS NATIONALS

United States Strongman Nationals is one of the largest Strongman competitions in the country. Hundreds of athletes from across the United States travel to Cedar Rapids to compete, push their limits, and represent years of sacrifice and dedication. This is a fast-paced, high-energy event environment with multiple competition lanes running throughout the day. As part of the media team, your role is to help document those moments and bring the energy of the event to life through photography and visual storytelling.•

THE ROLE

We are looking for photographers and creators who want real event experience inside a supportive and organized media team environment.

This role is ideal for:

• Sports photographers
• Event photographers
• Aspiring creators
• Photography students
• Gym creators
• Videographers looking to expand experience
• People passionate about strength sports and storytelling You do not need to be the "best photographer in the world" to apply.

You do need to:

• Be reliable

• Stay engaged throughout the event
• Care about creating quality work This is a collaborative team environment where everyone plays an important role in helping athletes receive incredible media coverage.

• WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Capture athletes during competition
• Photograph action moments, candids, celebrations, and crowd energy
• Cover assigned competition areas throughout the day
• Work within a structured photography system and workflow
• Help create consistent, high-quality coverage across the event
• Upload RAW files after the event You are not responsible for:
• Editing
• Color grading
• Graphic design
• Delivering client galleries
• Managing athletes or sales Our team handles the backend systems so creators can stay focused on capturing great moments.

• REQUIREMENTS

  Applicants should:
• Own a camera capable of shooting sports/action photography
• Be comfortable using manual or semi-manual settings
• Have memory cards, batteries, and chargers
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to move throughout a large event venue
• Be respectful, professional, and team-oriented Bonus experience:
• Sports photography

• Video work
• Strength sports knowledge
• Lightroom or editing experience
