We create emotional, fine-art portraits of families and their dogs. We're hiring someone who can both prepare clients for meaningful sessions and help lead those sessions in the studio. This role is half client communication, half photography. The strongest sessions—and the strongest sales—start with how the client is prepared before they ever walk in the door. We train the photography. What we can't train is presence, communication, and the ability to lead people.

If you prefer staying behind the camera or working independently, this won't be a fit. ⭐ You're a great fit if you: Communicate comfortably on the phone and can guide conversations with confidence Take ownership of client preparation—not just showing up for the session Are warm, coachable, and not defensive Follow through and handle details without being chased Enjoy working with families, kids, and energetic dogs Believe in the value of finished artwork in the home ⭐ What you'll do: Client Coordination (50%) Conduct session prep calls that build excitement and commitment Help clients plan who's participating and what matters most Set expectations clearly (process, policies, pricing guidance) Guide clients to visualize their finished portraits Ensure clients arrive prepared and ready for a strong session Studio & Photography (50%) Assist and eventually help lead portrait sessions Pose, direct, and guide families and dogs through sessions Maintain flow, energy, and control in the room Learn and use our lighting and shooting systems (training provided) Support a clean, organized, efficient studio ⭐ Schedule ~24 hours/week Saturdays required, evenings Wed to Saturday ⭐

Compensation Base Pay:

$22/hour

Commission:

6% of portrait sales influenced during sessions Expected Yearly Income $45,000 to $70,000 per year.
