Founded in 1831 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Presentation is strategically and conveniently located in downtown Louisville - its biggest classroom. The school serves a diverse student population from more than 35 zip codes in the Kentuckiana area. Presentation is close-knit community of teachers, staff, parents, alumnae and supporters who help prepare Pres girls for living and leading in a global society. Presentation Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sideline Cheer Head Coach to lead our team for the fall and winter season. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to empowering young women and helping them grow both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and lead all cheer practices and conditioning sessions Develop routines, chants, and game-day performances for sideline cheer Instruct athletes in proper cheer techniques, safety practices, and teamwork Coordinate and oversee all game-day and event performances Foster leadership, confidence, and sportsmanship among team members Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes Collaborate with school administration and athletic staff Represent the school and program with professionalism and integrityQualifications:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience coaching cheerleading (high school level preferred) and/or sideline cheerleading experience (high school level minimum) Strong knowledge of cheer techniques, stunting, and safety standards Ability to serve as a positive role model for young women CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain) Must meet KHSAA and Archdiocese of Louisville coaching requirements Must be at least 21 years of ageTo Apply:
