Job Description

About Us:
Barberito Photographers Inc. is a leading volume photography studio serving schools across Louisiana. We combine cutting-edge technology with exceptional customer service to create timeless portraits that capture life's moments.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a talented part-time Photographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and brings a positive attitude to work each day. Photography experience is not required, but preferred. We hire for attitude over experience. We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in our unique craft. As a Photographer, you'll capture a variety of portraits, including headshots, athletic portraits, senior portraits, and cap-and-gown images at on-site locations. This role offers variety, with some evening and weekend work required.
Responsibilities:
Deliver an outstanding portrait experience for every client. Prepare for on-location portrait sessions. Drive up to two hours from your home to a school. Collaborate with team members, assisting fellow photographers and staff in the field. Represent Barberito Photographers Inc. professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
Experience in photography, ideally in volume photography. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Creative Cloud (not required). Working with children in a professional environment (preferred). Strong communication skills. Comfortable with early morning schedules. Proficiency with PC/Mac platforms. Professional appearance (tattoos/piercings must be covered in the field). Punctual, with reliable attendance and timely portrait uploads. Valid driver's license. Must pass a background check.
What We Offer:
All photography equipment provided. Paid training. Mileage reimbursement for driving. Part-time schedule (20-40 hours per week). The average day starts at 7:30 am and finishes by 1:30 pm.
