Stocking Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Experienced Custom Picture/Art Framer to support daily operations in a custom framing shop. This role involves hands-on custom picture/art framing with the occasional question in a client consultation. The ideal candidate has experience framing, strong craftsmanship skills, and enjoys working independently while able to work with others on the team to get a piece of art framed for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure artwork and prepare orders accurately Able to use a glass cutter Proficient with Wizard or other mat cutting machine Perform hands-on framing tasks such as cutting, assembling, and finishing frames Maintain quality standards and attention to detail across all projects Support workflow by organizing and prioritizing incoming orders Keep workspace clean, organized, and stocked Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Qualifications:
Experience in custom framing or a related field preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills High attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using framing tools and equipment (training may be provided) Basic computer skills for order entry and tracking
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible part-time scheduling (possible fulltime for the right person) Opportunities for skill development and advancement

Back-of-the-house retail/workshop setting Hands-on, onsite production work required Collaborative and creative team environment

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
