Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Secondary Photographer to join our creative team! In this pivotal role, you will support the primary photographer by capturing high-quality images and videos that align with our artistic vision and brand standards. Your energetic approach to photography and videography will help elevate our visual storytelling, ensuring every shot is vibrant, compelling, and professionally polished. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in post-production, art direction, and social media management while contributing to engaging projects across various platforms. Duties Assist the primary photographer in capturing diverse images and video content during shoots, ensuring coverage of all key moments. Operate professional camera equipment, including DSLR, mirrorless cameras, and video gear, with a focus on capturing sharp, well-composed shots. Edit and manipulate photos using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to enhance color accuracy, contrast, and overall visual appeal. Conduct color management processes to maintain consistency across all images and videos in line with brand standards. Support filming and videography efforts by setting up shots, managing lighting equipment, and recording high-quality footage for various projects. Participate in post-production workflows including video editing with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro to craft engaging visual stories that captivate audiences. Qualifications Proven experience in photography and/or videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and creativity. Proficiency in photo editing software including Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of color theory and color management techniques to ensure visual consistency across all media. Experience with photo manipulation, art direction, and social media content creation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of lighting techniques, camera operation, and filming best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
