Job Description

KECI is looking for a dynamic Multi-Media Journalist to join our newsroom. We're seeking a storyteller who thrives in the field and is passionate about covering the communities we serve. As an MMJ, you'll report, shoot, write, and edit your own stories while developing strong local sources and bringing impactful journalism to our viewers. In this role, you'll produce compelling daily content for television, digital platforms, and social media. We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, and motivated to dig deeper and tell stories that matter. What We're Looking For Strong news judgment and editorial instincts The ability to craft compelling NPPA-style storytelling Solid shooting and editing skills A self-starter who works well independently and thrives in the field Strong communication skills and the ability to build community connections Requirements Reporting experienced preferred Experience performing live shots preferred Experience using LiveU or similar live transmission technology is a plus Valid driver's license and a good driving record If you're a journalist who loves storytelling, breaking news, and connecting with your community, we want to hear from you.
