We work with discerning clients across New Jersey and the greater New York metro area, delivering elevated, fashion-forward coverage that goes beyond the ordinary. We operate with a streamlined production workflow: our photographers focus entirely on capturing exceptional images on the day, which are then handed off to our dedicated offshore editing team for post-production. This means you get to do what you do best — shoot. The Role As a Contract Wedding Photographer with Memento Productions, you'll work alongside our creative director to deliver world-class editorial coverage on wedding days. You'll bring your equipment, your eye for storytelling, and your professionalism — we handle the client relationships, creative direction, and all post-production editing. What You'll Do Photograph weddings and events as a primary or second shooter under the Memento Productions brand Capture editorial-style coverage — candid moments, portraits, and detail shots with a refined, fashion-forward eye Collaborate with lead photographers on shot lists, timelines, and creative direction Deliver culled, unedited RAW galleries to our team promptly following each event — all editing is handled by our offshore post-production team Represent the Memento brand professionally with clients and vendors throughout the wedding day Travel to venues across NJ and the NY metro area, including evening and nighttime events What We're Looking For 2-5 years of wedding or events photography experience A strong portfolio demonstrating editorial and storytelling sensibility Sony ecosystem shooter — Alpha series mirrorless

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Proficiency with Sony-compatible off-camera flash and low-light/nighttime shooting Consistent weekend and evening/nighttime availability Based in New Jersey with reliable personal transportation Ability to travel throughout NJ and the greater NY metro area Comfortable working long hours in fast-paced, high-stakes environments Professional, poised demeanor with clients and vendors Compensation & Details $80/hour • Contract (1099) Flexible scheduling — book the dates that work for you Opportunity for ongoing seasonal bookings Zero post-production burden — editing is fully managed by our team
