THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We re looking for passionate and empathetic people to join our team as Retina Photographers . Our Photographers , support our technicians that are responsible for all the pre-exam elements of the patient visit. This includes gathering and documenting patient information and history and conducting routine and ancillary patient testing. You ll play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in helping our doctors to diagnose and treat eye disorders.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

You ll t est and record patient's far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception You ll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing You ll t riage emergency cases appropriately into physicians schedul e and maintai n patient flow You ll p repare patient and procedure room and assist ophthalmologist with procedures as needed You ll p erform first level maintenance on equipment and notif y the office manager of any equipment malfunctions You will be expected to utilize , as appropriate , infection control techniques and universal precautions , and to maintain confidentiality at all times

• you re the one people call to keep cool in stressful situations You have a positive, can-do attitude and work well in collaborative environments You re flexible
• you roll with the punches and easily accept change You re k nowledgeable in ocular pharmacology such as anesthetics, steroids, antibiotics, mydriatics and cycloplegics, epinephrine, miotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories is a PLUS, but not a requirement While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
