Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Supports the TRIO program by capturing and producing high-quality visual content for events, student services, and program promotions. The student worker edits and organizes images in a timely manner. Working closely with TRIO staff, this position helps visually document student engagement while representing the program in a professional and positive manner. This is a part-time position of less than 10 hours per week. Schedule will vary according to scheduled events. Preference will be given to students who qualify for Federal Work Study. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions . Ability to use KCC equipment or have your own camera and equipment. Capture photographs at TRIO program events, including workshops, meetings, outreach activities, and special events Take professional headshots of students for program use, ensuring proper lighting, composition, and consistency Take graduation photos for our Graduation Power Point upon student request. Document student participation, engagement, and program highlights in a professional and respectful manner Edit and enhance photos using basic photo editing software to ensure clarity, consistency, and visual appeal Organize, label, and maintain digital photo files in an accessible and structured system-Thumb drive or Canvas) Collaborate with TRIO staff to understand event goals and desired visual content Obtain and respect photo consent and confidentiality requirements (FERPA) for all participants Provide timely delivery of edited images for newsletters, social media, reports, PowerPoint presentations, and promotional materials Assist in creating visual content for TRIO flyers Maintain and properly handle photography equipment, reporting any issues as needed Support event setup or coordination as needed Represent the TRIO program in a professional and positive manner at all timesNON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic photography skills Basic photo editing skills and familiarity with photo editing software Organizational skills for labeling, sorting, and managing digital photo files Ability to follow privacy rules and maintain confidentiality (FERPA compliance) Basic equipment handling skills (camera setup, care, and troubleshooting) Reliability and punctuality for scheduled events and assignmentsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Overall GPA of at least 3.00 requiredOTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be a current student at Klamath Community College. Must have completed the FAFSA for 2025-2026 academic year and been determined eligible for Federal Work Study. Must be available during TRIO hours 8-5 M-F or as needed for scheduled eventsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
