Farmers Market Vendor With Weekend Availablity

Golden Age Kombucha is a local kombucha company in Portland, Oregon specializing in small batch brews, rotating weekly flavors and growler subscriptions. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part time team player to join us as market vendor.

This position is roughly 11-12 hours a week of work Saturday and Sunday (6.5ish hours per day)

• Saturday and Sunday market hours are roughly 9am-2pm.

We ask that vendors arrive to market by 8am to set up. Tear down follows the market and takes about 20 mins. Pay is $20 per market hour plus tips. Any extra tips are also yours to keep as well as a growler of kombucha per week and a trading bonus. Pay increase will be considered as progress and job responsibilities grow. Pay per hour with tips is $17.50

We are currently working the Oregon City Farmer's on Saturday and Milwaukie Farmer's Market on Sunday and possibly adding a few other Portland Farmer's Markets. This job is perfect for a side gigger or college student with weekend availability.

• Having a larger sized vehicle is preferred such as a mini SUV, SUV, hatchback or some sort or truck) to haul equipment to each market. Equipment includes 4
• 5 gallon kegs, 2 small jockey boxes, 2 fold-able tables, a tote, a cooler, a tent, and weights. Please let me know if you have a larger vehicle when you apply
• Must like to drink a variety of kombucha. A person who considers themself a kombucha enthusiast preferred.
• This job requires someone to be in good physical and mental health. Meaning you have the ability to carry 50 pounds and able to walk and stand for 6 hours at a time and have a positive attitude.
• Must be personable, approachable and friendly. Outgoing is a plus
• Enthusiastic about working, interacting with the general public and asking folks if they d like a sample to try
• On time and organized. Keeping the market tote and items organized at the end of the market so it s easy to find everything for next time and completing a short survey at the end of your shift to notify the manager if you need any supplies restocked
• Taking care of the equipment with respect
• Job responsibilities include retrieving kombucha from the brewery taking it to the market, set up and tear down at market and meeting up with the market manager afterwards for equipment hand-off at a mutual location.
