Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and adventurous Traveling Freelance Photographer with a strong background in portrait photography. In this role, you will travel to diverse locations to capture stunning portraits and other high-quality images for a variety of clients and projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio showcasing their portrait work, a passion for travel, and the ability to work independently while meeting client expectations. Key Responsibilities Travel to various locations to capture professional-grade portraits and other images as required by the project. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure the final portraits meet their expectations. Manage aspects of the photography process, from planning and travel logistics. Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition throughout travel. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent communication and customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries and feedback. Manage multiple photography projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met, especially in a traveling context. Ensure proper file management and secure storage of all digital assets during travel. Maintain an up-to-date portfolio showcasing a wide range of portrait work, highlighting travel assignments. Qualifications Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio focused on portrait photography. Proficiency in using professional photography equipment, particularly for on-location portrait shoots. Strong sense of composition, lighting, and color, with the ability to create compelling portraits in diverse environments. Ability to manage client communications independently. Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Reliable car is required. Availability to travel on short notice and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client needs.
