PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for capturing and editing both product and lifestyle photography for use across social media platforms and the Fat Quarter Shop website.

JOB DUTIES
Stages and photographs of general inventory products and lifestyle images for social media sharing and website use while maintaining brand identity. Edits digital images. Operates and maintains a wide range of camera equipment to photograph products. Follows file management protocols, ensuring digital assets are consistently named, stored, and archived according to company standards. Communicates and partners with Content Team members to ensure deadlines are met. Collaborates with the Social Media and Photography team members to maintain consistent brand imaging across social media and website platforms. Preserves the integrity of store products to ensure their sellable condition. Maintains neat and orderly work areas. Promotes and adheres to the FQS Core Values. Performs other responsibilities as assigned while working toward the greater good.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred Experience with studio and lifestyle photography Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite Skilled in digital file management Experience with project management software such as Monday.com Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Must be able to take projects from inception to completion in a very short time Acute attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate in person and electronic format Thrives in a fast-paced environment Team player

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Light physical effort is equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials. Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach. The employee must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for periods of time up to and exceeding 120 minutes. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
