We are currently hiring for two positions at our tactical laser tag arena here in Plano. The ideal candidate is outgoing and great with people of all ages. Also, our positions are not just a summer only job, so we are looking for people that can join the team and work year-round at TX Laser Combat, continuing with us into the fall and beyond.
Squad Instructor:
Job Objective The Squad Instructor oversees tactical laser tag games, ensuring safe, exciting, and well-executed experiences for all players. This role is responsible for managing game activities, enforcing safety rules, monitoring player interactions, and supporting arena operations to deliver high-quality entertainment that enhances customer satisfaction and encourages repeat visits. Main Responsibilities Deliver pre-game briefings on rules, objectives, and safety protocols. Monitor games to enforce safety and fair play, addressing unsafe or disruptive behavior. Set up and reset laser tag equipment (e.g., sensors, phasers, harnesses) between sessions. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, escalating complex problems to the Arena Manager. Respond to player incidents or emergencies, applying first aid if needed. Engage players to enhance their experience and gather feedback to suggest game improvements, such as rule tweaks or arena layout changes. Coordinate with Admissions Coordinator(s) to align check-ins with game schedules. Support special events or group bookings with tailored game setups. Assist with training new Squad Instructor staff under the direction of the Admissions Coordinator Manager. Maintain a clean, safe arena, reporting maintenance needs
Entry Ops:
Job Objective The Entry Ops Specialist manages player check-ins, bookings, and customer service to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for Texas Laser Combat's tactical laser tag players. This role focuses on processing reservations, delivering game information, and resolving inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction and support operational efficiency. Main Responsibilities Handle reservations and walk-ins, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely check-ins. Process payments and issue laser tag gear (e.g., harnesses, upgrades) to players. Provide game information and deliver safety briefings to prepare players for sessions. Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Coordinate with the Field Marshal(s) to align check-in processes with game schedules and arena operations. Support special events and parties (e.g., birthdays, corporate bookings) by managing registrations and group check-ins. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions using booking systems. Engage players post-game to gather feedback and encourage repeat visits or parties. Assist with training new Admissions staff under the direction of the Entry Ops Specialist Director. Keep the check-in area clean, organized, and welcoming for players.
