Job Summary:
•We are seeking an experienced Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for capturing high-quality images for school portraits. The Photographer will be responsible for creating portraits of school aged students and staff and all that comes with school portrait day. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, display professionalism, have patience in dealing with large numbers of students, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This candidate will be required to commute to 2 locations; Austin and San Antonio. •
Responsibilities:
•Display confidence and professionalism at all times. Consistently capture high quality portraits of students and staff. Communicate with students and staff by putting them at ease, encouraging them, and directing them. Be focused on getting a good picture, no matter what is going on around you. Efficiently assemble photography equipment at picture day locations. Arriving on time for picture day and prepared with proper equipment. Work in tandem with campus staff as well as parent and student volunteers to ensure a smooth portrait day experience. Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information. Represent Wheelhouse Pix in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all company and school rules and policies. Patience when dealing with large numbers of students (ranging from age from PreK - 12th grade, and Staff). •
Skills:
•Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment. Be a people person with excellent communication skills. A positive attitude. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail. The ability to be proactive in assisting others and problem solving. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and operate camera equipment. A high school diploma.

Seasonal Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week Application Question(s): This job requires two locations. Will you be able to commute to Austin and San Antonio? Would you pass a background check?
