Real Estate Photographer

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Photographer to capture stunning visual representations of properties that inspire and attract potential buyers and renters. In this role, you will utilize your photography, videography, and post-production skills to create compelling images and videos that showcase the unique features of each property. Your creative eye, technical expertise, and ability to work efficiently will help elevate our clients' listings and accelerate their sales or leasing processes. Responsibilities Conduct on-site photography and videography sessions at various properties, ensuring optimal lighting, angles, and composition to highlight key features. Capture high-quality images using professional camera equipment, including DSLR or mirrorless cameras, along with drone footage when applicable. Edit photos and videos with industry-standard software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere to enhance visual appeal while maintaining authenticity. Manage color accuracy through expert color management techniques to produce vibrant yet realistic images that meet branding standards. Collaborate with real estate agents and clients to understand their vision and specific requirements for each property showcase. Perform post-production tasks including photo manipulation, retouching, cropping, and adjusting exposure or color balance for maximum impact. Create engaging virtual tours or video walkthroughs that provide immersive experiences for prospective buyers or tenants. Maintain organized digital asset libraries for easy access and delivery of final media files. Stay current with industry trends in real estate marketing, photography techniques, and video production tools to continually improve quality. Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, and Capture One for editing and post-production workflows. Strong knowledge of photography principles including composition, lighting, depth of field, and color theory. Experience with videography equipment and filming techniques for creating high-quality video content. Ability to operate drones safely for aerial shots when necessary; drone certification is a plus. Excellent eye for detail combined with artistic sensibility to produce visually compelling imagery. Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members seamlessly. Knowledge of social media management strategies for promoting listings across various platforms. Understanding of art direction principles to ensure consistent branding across all visual content. Basic sales acumen to identify opportunities for showcasing properties effectively through visual storytelling.
