KG Stevens is the largest solid surface and granite/quartz fabricator in Wisconsin and due to our tremendous growth, we are looking for a Shift Slabsmith Photographer to join our team! Our company is comprised of over 110 dedicated employees serving the commercial and residential building & remodeling industries. If you have a keen eye for detail, computer and mechanical aptitude, and a strong desire to establish themselves in a new career, we would enjoy meeting with you to discuss the tremendous opportunities we have to offer at K.G. Daily Responsibilities:
Use overhead crane to load and unload stone and quartz slabs onto an evaluation/photo stationCreate high resolution digital images of our inventory from physical slabsCalibrate Slabsmith camera as needed to ensure image qualityVisually inspect and verify quality of raw materials received for fabricationUse tape to accurately mark areas of concern on slabs of granite, marble, quartz, etc.

Accurately maintain inventory related information in a computer databaseClean work area to ensure cleanliness and safe working conditions are maintainedPerform minor maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe and effective operationFollow all Company Policies & Procedures and adhere to all OSHA protocolsAssist with various other duties as needed The Ideal Candidate Would Have the
Following Experience:
Previous work in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating an overhead craneBasic computer literacy
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPossess a great attention to detailTime management and ability to multi-taskAbility to follow instructions, read paperwork and communicate with others to complete tasksAbility to work independently with little supervisionBe safety consciousCommit to work on time and retain communication with the Shop ForemanHave a positive attitude, possess a strong work ethic and have a desire to work with and help others achieve our production goals Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to airborne particles and moderate to high noise levels while in the shop. Safety equipment is provided for employees that will be in these areas. In addition, the employee will be standing for long periods of time and must be able to handle hot and cold temperature changes. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally need to lift or move objects over 70+ pounds. Must be able to properly grasp, feel, bend, reach and lift without reasonable accommodations.
