Job Description

Associate Producer - True Crime Video Podcast The Associate Producer will help manage the production of a new true crime video podcast based on a successful, long-running true crime franchise with a passionate audience and decades-long legacy. Working closely with the Executive Producer, story team, production staff, and post-production department, this person will keep projects organized, schedules on track, and communication flowing across all stages of production. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, tech-savvy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Salary Range:
$90,000-$95,000 annually, depending on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION
Production Management & Coordination Maintain production schedules, calendars, and workflow systems across multiple episodes Track projects from story assignment through final release Coordinate communication between story producers, writers, production, post-production, and executive leadership Manage production documents, trackers, agendas, and departmental updates Ensure deadlines are met and information is flowing smoothly between teams Prepare story materials, research packets, and production documents Organize interview assets, transcripts, and supporting materials Support story producers throughout the development process What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in production coordination, associate producing, or similar roles Experience managing schedules, calendars, and multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and follow-through Calm under pressure and able to adapt when priorities shift Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms Preferred Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong scheduling and calendar management experience Experience with Zoom and remote production workflows Familiarity with Riverside.fm is a plus Experience working in podcasts, documentaries, digital media, or television production is highly desirable
