The Licensing & Marketing Coordinator (LMC) is a member of the games licensing team for Warner Bros Discovery. The LMC will be responsible for acting as a key liaison with all internal and external stakeholders to assist in ensuring that license partners adhere to brand expression and other brand guidelines with respect to Warner Bros Discovery IP. The LMC will assist the licensing team in managing the funnel for new partners - including assisting with pitch decks, ensuring that franchise information is consistently updated as well as maintaining and tracking in process discussions across the different partners. In addition, prior to and following launch of games, the LC will be responsible for maintaining launch schedules and routing marketing assets for brand approval. The LC must have a passion for games, an understanding of current marketing & social media trends as well as some project management experience. This person will need to be an adaptive creative thinker with a creative eye and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The LC must be a self-motivated, driven, and organized. The LMC role will also include a unique focus on creating visuals/materials that can be used by the licensing team in pitch meetings, concept presentations and trade shows. The goal of these materials will be to showcase our brands in the best light possible while maintaining the quality and authenticity expected by our fans.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Support the business development efforts of the licensing team through the maintenance of toolkits and support materials, including but not limited to IP Presentations, sizzles, and pitch decks. 2. Support the launch and live operations of licensed games by routing and tracking brand/marketing assets for timely approvals, facilitating timely feedback land ensuring that iterative assets incorporate any comments. 3. Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with internal and external groups, including production, marketing, and other key stakeholders in order to facilitate the delivery of innovative, high-quality games. Collaborate with internal stakeholders for brand guideline and asset acquisitions and help coordinate overall brand approvals related to both production and marketing elements across video, digital or other medium. 4. Gather reference materials and assets from internal stakeholders and divisions at WBD. 5. Ingest and archive large sets of creative assets, maintain an up-to-date library including owning strict naming nomenclature for version control, and distribute assets as needed to internal and external partners to ensure sharing of information across multiple teams working on different slates of games whether they be publishing or licensing 6. Assist in the maintenance of workflow documentation and support cross-discipline collaboration. 7. Manages meeting cadence and agendas with franchise and other internal WBD teams to ensure coordination with cross studio franchise initiatives. Ability to pull down, install, and troubleshoot game builds when needed for executive presentations or demos. Work Experience
- Ideally at least 3 years in project or partner coordination position at major entertainment or brand company.
- Experience in cross-divisional, synergistic roles with multiple stakeholders is a plus.
- Experience in TV/film, entertainment, digital media, and/ or video games strongly preferred. Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification BA/ BS required. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar as well as secure file sharing technologies. Creative proficiency with Adobe suite of services and PowerPoint Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to operate independently, work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate project details, schedules, and deadlines in a cross functional environment to different audiences (execs, film/tv stakeholders)
- Strong understanding of current marketing and social media trends
- Fluency with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X
- Fluency with Microsoft Office required (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Experience working with AAA entertainment brands (film/tv/comic/animation) preferred

- Ability to multitask, pivot, and change focus when necessary
- Demonstrated ability working internally or with partners to develop compelling creative assets
