About the Role Wishare Media Group is looking for a Creative Strategist & Short-Form Video Producer who can both come up with strong video ideas and execute them hands-on. This role is for someone who understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, UGC-style ads, product videos, and paid social creative. We are NOT looking for a general marketing coordinator. We are not looking for someone who only manages content calendars. We are also not looking for a pure editor who only waits for a script and footage. The right person can take a product, find the strongest selling angle, write a hook, build a short-form video structure, and edit the final video into something that feels native to social platforms. What You'll Work On Most of our work is social-first video content for brands, products, and paid ads.
You will help create:
TikTok-style product videos UGC-style ads Paid social video ads Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts Product demo videos Hook-driven ad variations Short-form videos for e-commerce and consumer brands What You'll Do Develop short-form video concepts based on product benefits, audience pain points, trends, and campaign goals Write hooks, scripts, voiceover outlines, captions, and shot structures for short-form videos Turn product briefs into clear video ideas that can actually be filmed and edited Edit short-form videos using Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools Create multiple versions of the same concept for testing different hooks, angles, intros, subtitles, and CTAs Research TikTok trends, competitor ads, UGC formats, and high-performing social video styles Work with the creative, production, and media buying teams to improve video ideas before and after editing Review feedback and make revisions quickly without losing the original creative direction You May Be a Good Fit If You know what makes someone stop scrolling in the first 1-3 seconds You can explain why a video hook works or does not work You can write a simple but effective video structure You can edit your own videos, not just give ideas You understand UGC-style content, product storytelling, and paid social ads You are comfortable making multiple creative variations, not just one polished version You follow TikTok, Reels, Shorts, creator content, ad trends, and social video formats You care about whether a video performs, not just whether it looks nice You Are Probably Not a Fit If Your background is mainly customer service, retail, restaurant, hospitality, admin, or general office work Your experience is mostly general marketing, email marketing, event marketing, or marketing analytics You only manage social media calendars but do not create video concepts or edit videos yourself You mainly edit weddings, events, music videos, cinematic reels, or long-form YouTube videos You only make pretty brand videos but do not understand hooks, pacing, UGC, or paid social creative You are not comfortable showing a portfolio of actual short-form video work Requirements 2+ years of experience in short-form video, creative strategy, video production, paid social creative, UGC ads, or social-first content Strong portfolio with TikTok, Reels, Shorts, paid social ads, UGC-style videos, product videos, or e-commerce video examples Hands-on editing skills are required Experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar editing tools Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, subtitles, visual rhythm, and short-form video structure Ability to write simple scripts, creative angles, and video outlines Strong sense of current social media trends and platform-native content Comfortable working in a fast-moving agency environment Nice to Have Experience with DTC, e-commerce, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, home, tech, fitness, or consumer product brands Experience using TikTok Creative Center, Meta Ad Library, CapCut, Canva, Figma, or AI-assisted video tools Experience creating paid social ads for Meta, TikTok, or similar platforms Experience working with creators, influencers, or UGC talent Basic understanding of creative performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS, or conversion rate How to Apply Please include a portfolio link.
