Peak Laboratories LLC is an instrument manufacturer located in Mountain View, California. Our advanced products are used in semiconductor process control globally. We are currently searching for a Production Manager to take manufacturing to the next level. The ideal candidate will have engineering and manufacturing experience, both hands-on and managerial. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling and managing product build cycles to meet delivery requirements while strategically scheduling inventory purchases to meet future build forecasts at minimum cost while increasing workflow efficiency and product quality. Achieving these goals will require hands-on execution, cross-functional leadership, and supervision/collaboration with other team members across a fast-moving organization.Responsibilities:
Planning, supervising, and coordinating manufacturing operations. Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, involvement and continuous improvement. Establish clear measurable goals and lead individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and achieve outstanding performance outcomes in customer satisfaction and inventory optimization. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials to maximize the production capacity. Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure product quality with consistent practice and in compliance with customer specifications. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the production process.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across functions Proficiency with Microsoft Office, production planning systems, and manufacturing software Experience with production planning, workflows, and resource planning Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.About Us:
