Job Description

Sr. Video Producer, Industrial Energy Products Tesla Motors, Inc. 80,000 - 156,000 USD paid holidays, flex time, 401(k) United States, California, Palo Alto Mar 27, 2026 What to Expect As the Video Producer for Tesla's Industrial Energy team, you'll be the engine that turns ideas into highimpact video stories that showcase our industrial energy products globally. From customer case studies to product launch videos, and technical educational content, you'll own the production process from concept through filming - developing creative briefs, aligning stakeholders, sourcing and managing external production agencies, and ensuring every project is delivered on time and aligns with the Tesla brand. This role sits at the intersection of creative production and project management. You'll work across the organization and with external stakeholders making sure briefs are clear, roles and responsibilities are defined, and production run smoothly. You should thrive in ambiguity, providing structure and moving things forward. You will occasionally lead or support shoots, capturing professional video and audio and directing talent. What You'll Do
EndtoEnd Production Management:
Lead the production of compelling visual narratives that simplify complex energy technology and drive adoption, craft production plans and schedules for product launches, customer stories, and webinars to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned and up to date on project progress
Creative Brief Development:
Ask incisive questions, and distill objectives, audience, messaging, and deliverables into actionable production roadmaps
Vendor & Agency Leadership:
Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage external production houses, freelance crews, and postproduction specialists
CrossFunctional Coordination:
Bridge the creative and operational worlds - act as the main point of contact between internal marketing, product, sales and engineering teams and external production partners to secure product access, legal clearances, and customer participation
OnSet Stewardship:
Direct or oversee shoots, providing realtime feedback to ensure video and audio meets creative and brand standards. Operate professional cinema and drone camera systems, audio recorders, and lighting kits
Scalable Process Building:
Develop reusable templates, production playbooks, and a vetted vendor roster to support the growing Tesla Energy video program What You'll Bring 6+ years leading video production, with a proven track record of managing complex, multistakeholder projects Deep vendor management experience, you've built and maintained relationships with agencies and freelancers throughout the full production lifecycle Exceptional organization and process management, you juggle concurrent timelines and creative demands without missing a beat. You translate business goals into clear production directives and can converse with both creative talent and technical teams Fullcycle production expertise including preproduction planning, onset direction and shooting, and postproduction support Experience shooting on cinema and drone camera systems Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Premiere Pro most importantly

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
