This isn't your normal newscast where you stack an hour show and write ten VO's. Here, you work with meteorologists to produce seven-minute live segments throughout the day. During severe weather, you produce breaking news coverage for the duration of the event. Primary duties include stacking a rundown, setting up lives with field correspondents and expert guests, seeking viral video content on the internet, posting engaging social media content, editing VO's, SOT's, PKG's. Experience with Adobe products is a plus, but not required. This position requires a flexible schedule which will include early morning shifts. You must have the ability to work assisted and unassisted as necessary in a deadline-driven environment. This is a great job for a former on-air meteorologist or broadcast producer who is looking for something completely different from producing a local affiliate newscast.
