Production Manager

Company / Position Overview WellnessSpace Brands is a dynamic, fast-paced Tampa Bay-based manufacturer of innovative wellness and recovery products, seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager with a heavy emphasis on quality to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and implementing innovative engineering solutions.

Expectations / Responsibilities

Manage the production team, ensuring production, quality, and on-time-delivery goals are met each day / week / month Take a proactive, hands-on approach every day on the production line to observe, monitor, and hold staff accountable. The majority of your day will be spent on the production floor. Plan, prepare, forecast, control, and monitor the daily production schedule Ensure highest levels of product quality control are met with every shipment Create and implement training programs to properly on-board new production staff Work hand-in-hand with other functional areas (sales support, supply chain, R&D, technical support) Participate in the implementation of manufacturing technology to meet objectives, improve cost, reduce lead times, and promote on-time delivery Provide a safe working environment compliant with all applicable policies, regulations, and safety standards Background / Requirements Bachelors degree (required) / engineering degree (preferred) 10+ years of experience in production management roles Engineering background / strong mechanical aptitude Hands-on / get it done mindset Ability to plan properly Thrive in fast-paced, smaller to mid-sized company Professional, enthusiastic attitude, team player Excellent communication skills Ability to gain employee trust, lead, and motivate team to achieve goals Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel Compensation Bi-weekly base-salary with employee bonus program Full-benefits package including vacation, PTO, health / dental insurance, 401K matching, etc
