Full Job Description Reconditioning Production Manager SUMMARY:
Is responsible for all vehicle reconditioning operations which include but not limited to, inventory receiving and control, zone/step maintenance, merchandising, vehicle inspection, sublet mechanical and cosmetic operations, final quality control, and photo processing. Controls the flow of vehicles through the reconditioning process by proper execution of key processes and adherence to standards. Drives measurable performance in the areas of staffing, costs, cycle time, quality and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensures that all positions are properly staffed at all times to staffing targets Achieves daily and weekly production targets Partners with other departments as needed to collaborate on questions regarding vehicle standards and processes. Conduct vehicle production and reconditioning training using our training methodology while maintaining daily production requirements Train and mentor new and existing associates on production processes according to our standards Conduct informal and formal observations of Associates to maintain standardization Communicate expectations and provide verbal feedback to associates based on observations Schedule and conduct daily production team meetings Schedule and conduction weekly/monthly tactical and strategic meetings with senior store management Lead and mentor associates through problem solving activities to maintain quality and meet production goals Develop standardized work to support continuous improvement efforts Operate production system using operating rules and manager standard work. Complete Final Quality Inspections Add additional support in the event of absenteeism, vacations, breaks, etc. to ensure work is being completed. Ensure all equipment is maintained, repaired, and cleaned as required within assigned zone Ensure proper inventory levels of all personal protective equipment, tools, and chemicals. Responsible for workplace cleanliness and organization Maintain and monitor visual tools to manage production Maintain and monitor manager Daily Planning Systems Track and report attendance, performance and behaviors of all Associates to supervisor and HR when applicable. Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
SCHEDULE
8-hour shift including weekends 2 days off/week
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
Read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records. Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Lift objects that weigh as much as 50lbs Speak and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone
