The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in food production management, with expertise in inventory systems, labor forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for meeting production targets safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality, while also driving data-informed labor optimization and real-time warehouse execution. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Management Plan, manage, and execute daily food production to meet volume, quality, and safety goals. Enforce GMPs and all applicable regulatory standards (SQF, FDA, OSHA, etc.). Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues. Maintain accurate production records and analyze KPIs for continuous improvement. Train and manage production staff to ensure high performance and compliance. Warehouse Management System (WMS) Oversight Oversee daily warehouse workflows via an ERP-integrated WMS, including: Work Order Assembly Purchase Order Receiving & Putaway Sales Order Picking Utilize handheld devices for real-time inventory updates, material staging, and production support. Coordinate with receiving and production teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and efficient material flow. Inventory and Material Flow Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure continuity and accuracy. Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams for timely procurement, staging, and fulfillment. Track inventory movements, reconcile discrepancies, and prevent stockouts or overages. Labor Analytics and Workforce Planning Analyze internal and agency labor data to align labor with weekly schedules and seasonal demand. Leverage analytics to proactively manage workforce needs: Workforce Forecasting
  • Use historical labor and productivity data to plan staffing needs. Production Monitoring
  • Track equipment and operator performance in real time to identify bottlenecks and reallocate resources. Performance Monitoring
  • Integrate labor and production metrics to make timely staffing decisions. Apply labor analytics to enhance decision-making in key areas: Shift Scheduling
  • Create demand-based schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency. Skills Matching
  • Assign staff based on skill sets to maximize productivity. Cost Control
  • Minimize overtime and reduce unnecessary labor costs. Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Identify skill gaps, plan training initiatives, and improve retention.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in food production management, preferably in an FDA-regulated facility. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required . Redzone experience preferred. Proficiency with ERP and WMS platforms. Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and quality systems. Demonstrated ability to analyze labor and production data to improve efficiency and control costs. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

$85,000.00
