In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse activities and production planning. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize resource utilization, and uphold safety standards while maintaining a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational excellence within a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering quality products on time. Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet demand forecasts while optimizing workflow and resource allocation. Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across all functions. Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate records for inventory management, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution.
Production Management:
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Prioritize work flow. Set up production lines, allocate labor, and adjust workflows to meet fluctuating demand without exceeding budgets. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a manufacturing or service/repair setting. 3 to 5 years is a plus. Strong background in supply chain/logistics management principles including inventory control, logistics, procurement, and freight management. Supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety and efficiency. Knowledge of demand planning, production scheduling, and materials management processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in shipping & receiving operations.
