This position is ideal for someone interested in photography, creative entrepreneurship, and the behind-the-scenes operations of a working studio. This is a dynamic role, no two days are the same. You'll be involved in everything from shoot preparation, to client communication, to ensuring the studio runs smoothly and the brand is consistently represented. Key Responsibilities Production Coordination Build and manage production timelines and shoot logistics Coordinate with clients, vendors, and collaborators Assist in planning shoot days, call sheets, and deliverables Ensure projects stay on track from pre-production through delivery Photography & Creative Support Assist on photoshoots (lighting setup, styling, client coordination) Support post-production workflow (file sorting, basic editing in Lightroom/Photoshop) Marketing & Content Support content creation for social media, website, and marketing campaigns Assist with brand storytelling and visual consistency across platforms Organize and manage digital assets for marketing use Help execute outreach, promotions, and client-facing materials Studio Operations & Management Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness for shoots Prep gear and assist with setup and teardown Coordinate scheduling, bookings, and calendar management Create production schedules using Adobe InDesign (required) Handle administrative tasks including email organization, invoicing support, and file management Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs Comfortable multitasking and working independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign (required) Working knowledge of QuickBooks (required) Interest in photography, creative work, or studio environments Reliable transportation (required for errands and off-site shoots) What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in a professional photography studio Insight into both the creative and business sides of photography Mentorship and ongoing skill development Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility over time Compensation Pay based on experience Hourly (part-time) with potential for position to be full-time if business is busy.
