Job Description

Assistant Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor Direct Hire | $55,000-$70,000 + Bonus Potential Berne, IN | 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday) Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire an Assistant Production Manager. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting teams, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing supervisor with experience in die casting, CNC machining, or assembly operations who is ready to grow into a larger leadership role. What You'll Do
  • Supervise and support daily production operations on 2nd shift
  • Lead and assign work to production associates to meet output and quality goals
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and development
  • Monitor production schedules, machine changeovers, and workflow efficiency
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance when needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
  • Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment What We're Looking For
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead teams and keep production running efficiently
  • Mechanical or electrical knowledge preferred
  • Experience in die casting, CNC machining, or manufacturing assembly highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 or
IATF 16949
quality systems is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or manufacturing degree preferred Compensation & Benefits
  • $55,000-$70,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Bonus potential in addition to base salary
  • Direct hire position with long-term growth opportunities
