ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assure personal safety of all employees on the production floor.
• Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data
• Plan production operations & establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
• Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Develop, revise, or maintain standard operational working and good manufacturing practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with all standards.
• Resolve worker grievances or submit unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data for analysis.
• Monitor efficiency of scrap, production, and quality control.
• Maintains plant housekeeping and oversee areas of the product safety committee.
• Participate in new product development by providing operational support.
• Assist supervisors/operators/packers in troubleshooting equipment and quality issues.
• Maintain our product Safety and Quality programs via SQF, ISO, AIB, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned

Pay:

$80,000.00
