Growing Empanada Company Salary:
$48,000 per year
Bonus:
$2,500 every 6 months based on performance
Location:
Boston/Brookline area We're looking for someone serious, reliable, and hungry to grow with a small food company that is working to become one of the next big food brands in Massachusetts. This is not just a regular kitchen job. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of building something. You'll help lead kitchen production, prepare the team for daily empanada production, assist with catering orders, manage inventory, help organize systems in the kitchen, and make sure we have what we need to operate smoothly.
Responsibilities You will help with:
Daily kitchen production Preparing empanadas and fillings Keeping the team organized and ready Helping create better kitchen systems Inventory control Catering prep and execution Market/event preparation Shopping or picking up supplies when needed Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and efficient Who We're Looking For We want someone who: Takes pride in their work Wants to grow with a company Is dependable and organized Can lead by example Works well with others Is open to feedback and also willing to share ideas Has a positive attitude Wants to be part of a good work environment Has a valid driver's license Vehicle A company vehicle may be available for work-related use if needed. The employee must have a valid driver's license and be added to the insurance policy. The employee may be responsible for gas, registration-related costs, and any damage caused by misuse or negligence. Growth Opportunity We are building more than one restaurant. The goal is to grow into multiple shops, catering, markets, and wholesale empanada production. This position has real opportunity for growth as the company expands. We want someone who is willing to put in the work now and grow with us as the company grows.
