We provide booking, marketing, production, ticketing, and operational management services in any live event space: clubs, theaters, outdoor concert series, festivals and more. Our mission is to provide holistic event experiences with impeccable production value, intentional atmosphere, warm and detailed staff hospitality, thoughtfully curated food and beverage programs, artfully designed aesthetics, and excellent customer service that make each guest feel like they're coming home. Rising Sun Presents has recently taken ownership of the historic 8x10 music club. The 8x10 is a 300-capacity independent venue in the historic Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore re-opening October 2026. This role is for a September 1st official start date.
Job Description:
Advance entertainment bookings including email correspondence, tech packets, and more Serve as on-site contact for bands and all entertainment personnel Serve as on-site contact for 8x10 Operations staff on Production related needs Manage the hiring, training, and scheduling of hourly sound engineers Manage the production of the live entertainment that includes all audio and visual needs for the venue Coordinate all AV equipment rentals to meet the needs of the artist advances Ensure band hospitality riders are fulfilled when applicable Act as mentor, teacher, and leader for hourly sound engineers at 8x10 Implement Standard Operating Procedures for hourly sound engineers at 8x10 Ensure adequate and organized inventory of audio equipment to meet the production needs of the venue Troubleshoot & Manage venue AV equipment repairs Manage booking calendar to ensure proper set-times and show details Work with GM on production & operational needs for the venues Assist Director of Production with miscellaneous tasks as needed Assist General Manager with miscellaneous tasks as needed
