Job Description

Palladium Pictures, a documentary production company based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is seeking a full-time, in-office Associate Producer to join our growing team. At Palladium Pictures, we produce ambitious, intellectually serious documentaries that explore the major stories, ideas, and controversies shaping our world. Our work includes the ongoing The Wall Street Journal Opinion documentary shorts series, multiple feature-length documentaries currently in development, and the Palladium Pictures Incubator Program, which supports and mentors the next generation of documentary filmmakers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated producer to play a meaningful role across a diverse slate of projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all phases of documentary production, from development and pre-production through field production and post-production. Responsibilities Conduct research and assist with story development
Coordinate shoots, travel, and production logistics
Manage releases, archives, and production paperwork
Assist with interview preparation and scheduling
Support editors and producers during post-production
Help oversee deliverables for broadcast and digital distribution
Contribute to the administration of our filmmaker incubator program
Qualifications Experience working in documentary film, television, or digital media production
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent writing, research, and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with standard production and post-production workflows
A passion for nonfiction storytelling and current affairs
About the Role This is a full-time position based in our Chevy Chase, Maryland office. Candidates should be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (or willing to relocate) and available to work in person. Why Join Palladium Pictures?
