Job Description

Build a High-Performance Operation Join Plant 3 to own the metal encapsulation and wrap manufacturing value stream.
Your mission:
deliver safe, compliant, and efficient output while elevating people, process, and performance to world‑class standards. Your Impact Achieve SQDC outcomes through disciplined daily management, transparent metrics, and decisive leadership.
Create capability:
hire, schedule, cross-train, and coach teams; complete evaluations and development plans. Stabilize and improve processes across wrap lines, encapsulation, material handling, curing, and finishing with standardized work and visual management. Advance IATF 16949 and
ISO 14001
compliance through robust control plans, traceability, and environmental stewardship. What You'll Do Plan and execute to customer demand: protect takt, meet schedule attainment, and sustain delivery performance. Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to keep materials flowing and equipment ready (including PM scheduling). Lead daily Gemba walks, tier meetings, and huddles to surface problems early and act fast.
Measure what matters:
OEE, scrap, throughput, labor efficiency, safety, and customer delivery; maintain ERP/MES accuracy and visual boards. Attack waste using Lean tools—5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, Poka‑Yoke—and close gaps with 5 Why, Fishbone, and A3. Reduce costs via material yield optimization and right-sized labor; build ROI cases for capital investments. Safety, Environment, and Quality First Model safe behaviors and compliance with PPE, LOTO, machine guarding, and chemical handling protocols; drive audits, investigations, and corrective actions. Maintain
ISO 14001
systems covering waste handling, emissions, and hazardous materials; ensure ergonomic workstations and 5S discipline. Partner with Quality to resolve nonconformances, CAPAs, SCARs, deviations, and customer complaints; verify first-piece, in-process, and final audit requirements. Track key quality metrics including scrap, rework, dimensional accuracy, metal wrap integrity, and bonding performance. New Products & Change Control Lead change management and training before go‑live; own controlled revisions and process updates. Execute APQP deliverables (PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, PPAP), plus trials, capability studies, and validations. Culture & Collaboration Promote teamwork, accountability, and open communication; be the hub between production, leadership, and support groups. Recognize and channel employee ideas into tangible improvements. Qualifications Proven Lean Manufacturing leadership with continuous improvement execution. Expertise in 5 Why root cause analysis. Strong APQP background and PPAP delivery. Operational metrics & KPI management proficiency. Production planning & scheduling experience. Hands-on
