Job Description

  • This individual will be responsible for managing the process of gathering, validating, and storing brand specific packaging copy elements in the packaging copy database.
They will act as the liaison between Artwork Managers/Brands and the Translation House(s), ensuring that packaging copy elements and their translations are accurate, consistent, market approved, and delivered in a timely manner. This individual will also be responsible for managing the copy related aspect of regulatory change projects and for maintaining consistency in our translations across all platforms and variants. 1. Independence of Action and Accountability a. Independently manage packaging copy related projects. b. Populate and manage source data and its translations in the database. c. Initiate and manage translation projects for new copy. d. Collaborate with all key stakeholders as outlined in the translation process, to ensure the timely delivery of all translations. e. Responsible for managing the process of local market translation validation. f. Attend any team meetings and other relevant meetings that concern the data hub and its processes. g. Adhere to all prior agreed upon policy and procedures as it relates to Packaging Artwork. 2. Problem Solving a. Handle and resolve all translation inconsistencies across all platforms and variants. b. Collaborate with Artwork Managers to manage the identification and storage of all necessary data elements for copy sheet creation. c. Help support SOPs to ensure copy stored is accurate and up to date.
  • Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate must possess outstanding data management skills, as well as being highly organized, and extremely detail oriented. This person will be expected to function collaboratively with a wide range of key stakeholders, and therefore must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years experience in some combination of project management, data management, translations.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Must possess a better-than-average working knowledge of the Mac Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel, to create spreadsheets, and troubleshoot non-Romance font issues within Word.
  • Knowledge of all digital file formats and their best-practice applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, across regions and functions.
