Description Summary:
The Fabrication Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing metal fabrication operations within a manufacturing environment. This person will coordinate daily shop activities, guide personnel, and ensure that production goals are achieved.
Duties:
Coordinate the movement of materials through various stages of production to ensure timely completion Oversee fabrication processes including cutting systems, forming equipment, and welding operations Analyze workflows and implement improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety Verify completed work meets required specifications prior to final release Provide guidance, training, and ongoing development for team members, including performance evaluations Address employee-related concerns and collaborate with leadership on resolution strategies Identify tooling, equipment, and maintenance needs to support uninterrupted operations Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure adherence to all safety requirements Maintain an orderly and hazard-free production environment Support onboarding and skill development efforts to strengthen team capabilities Monitor daily shop activity to ensure compliance with procedures and production standards Conduct routine equipment checks and assist with preventative maintenance planning Organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines while balancing efficiency and cost considerations Track operational metrics such as output, labor efficiency, and overall performance
Requirements:
At least five years of experience overseeing complex manufacturing or production operations Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver consistent results Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and production planning Effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Stable work history with a record of successfully completed projects Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
