WURD Radio WURD Radio is seeking a Technical Producer to support live and recorded shows and help deliver high-quality, engaging content to our audience. In this role, you will work closely with hosts and guests behind the scenes to keep broadcasts running smoothly across radio, video, and digital platforms. What You'll Do Run the board for live and studio shows, following station format and timing. Cue hosts for commercial breaks and play commercials, promos, IDs, and PSAs according to the commercial log. Operate WURD TV and manage show titles, host names, and descriptions for social media broadcasts. Operate the station's StreamYard account during programs and live broadcasts. Edit and upload on-air content to SoundCloud after your producer shifts. Meet with hosts to plan segments, transition music, and soundbites for each show. Book show guests as needed and help maintain the show calendar. Answer caller lines and relay caller information and topics to the host in writing. Complete daily reports for each show and maintain accurate caller logs. Take transmitter readings and sign off on the commercial log each hour on duty. Assist with special projects and fill in for other producers/technical producers as needed. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience in video production, studio engineering, radio, or technical producing. Familiarity with audio and video editing software (e.g., common editing tools). Comfortable with Microsoft Office and social media platforms. Ability to think creatively about how to present content and engage audiences. Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different platforms. Knowledge of recording equipment and the ability to operate different radio studios. Reliability, attention to detail, and composure in a fast-paced live broadcast environment. Schedule & Reporting On-site in Philadelphia, PA; schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on programming needs. Reports to the Program and News Director.
