Job Description
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Education:
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Two to three years of shop experience.
- Three to four years of PC planner experience.
- Three to four years scheduling experience.
- Experience with Lotus or equivalent type spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Internet software and E-mail.
- Ability to input and review MRP runs.
- Ability to review daily shortages and take appropriate action.
- Ability to prepare reports on critical items.
- Ability to adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
Job Duties:
- Establish production schedules based on a forecast of major equipment or groups of select items.
- Reflect schedules into the MRP module as input and approve inventory replenishment orders as output.
- Maintain major equipment records.
- Publish shop-related reports.
- Monitor activity of critical inventory items.
- Input and review MRP run.
- Review daily shortages and take action.
- Prepare reports on critical items.
- Adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
