The film is currently in development and financing, with production planned in New Mexico. We are looking for a motivated, organized, relationship-driven person in Albuquerque to help with investor relations, follow-up, business networking, scheduling, and outreach support. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in sales, business development, networking, fundraising support, community relations, chamber events, real estate, finance, or professional services who wants to be involved in a serious independent film production. Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Producer / Investor Relations Coordinator to help identify qualified business contacts, set meetings, follow up with potential investors, attend local networking events, and keep our investor outreach process organized. This person will not be responsible for giving legal, financial, or investment advice. The role is focused on relationship-building, scheduling, follow-up, lead tracking, and helping connect the production team with qualified business and community contacts. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, persistent, organized, and comfortable speaking with business owners, executives, chamber members, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. Responsibilities Research and identify potential business contacts, investors, sponsors, and community partners in Albuquerque and New Mexico Help schedule meetings for the producer/director and production team Make professional follow-up calls and emails after networking events and introductions Maintain a lead/contact spreadsheet or CRM Track outreach, responses, meeting dates, and next steps Attend selected Albuquerque networking events, chamber events, business mixers, and community events Help prepare simple meeting notes and follow-up reminders Coordinate introductions between potential investors and the production team Assist with investor packet organization and meeting preparation Represent the project professionally in public-facing business environments Ideal Candidate Strong sales, business development, networking, or relationship-management experience Comfortable making phone calls and sending professional emails Excellent follow-up skills Highly organized and reliable Strong communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Comfortable attending local business and networking events Familiarity with Albuquerque business circles is a plus Experience with chambers of commerce, real estate, finance, insurance, hospitality, construction, or local business development is a plus Interest in film, media, entertainment, or New Mexico production is a plus Important Role Boundaries This is not a licensed securities broker position. The Associate Producer / Investor Relations Coordinator will not negotiate investment terms, promise returns, provide financial advice, collect investment funds, or represent themselves as a financial advisor. All investment discussions, legal terms, financial documents, and final investor conversations will be handled by the production team and appropriate legal professionals. Qualifications 2+ years of sales, business development, fundraising support, client relations, networking, or related experience preferred Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills Ability to work independently and follow up consistently Comfortable using spreadsheets, Google Docs, email, and basic CRM-style tracking Must be based in or near Albuquerque, NM Must be able to attend occasional in-person meetings or events Compensation Compensation will be discussed based on experience, availability, and scope of work. This may include part-time hourly pay, a weekly/monthly contract rate, deferred production compensation, and/or screen credit depending on contribution and final agreement.
