Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Commercial Lines P&C Producer services and sells commercial insurance products while building long-term client relationships. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely and, in the office, with a focus on consultative selling, prospecting, retention, and collaboration with internal teams. The role combines client facing impact with strategic business development across the Tampa Bay market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Acquisition Advise, quote, and sell commercial property & casualty insurance policies. Analyze business operations and risk exposure to develop tailored insurance solutions. Meet quarterly/ annual sales quotas by following established agency processes. Prospect for new business through community involvement and outreach to Achieva Credit Union members, and close new commercial accounts across a range of industries and risk classes. Build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, prospects, and referral sources. Client Service & Policy Management Manage policy expirations, renewals, and retention efforts. Collaborate with internal team members to support renewals and resolve service-related issues. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and carrier requirements. Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes. Systems & Reporting Utilize agency management and CRM tools (e.g., AgencyZoom, EZLYNX) to track activities and client interactions. Maintain accurate documentation of sales efforts, policy information, and renewal workflows. Participate in incentive and recognition programs tied to performance metrics. Organizational Engagement Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions. Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities. Represent and uphold the Achieva Brand Frame. Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer. Participate in annual training or as required by BSA and the Privacy Act. Perform other essential functions as needed or assigned. Travel may be required on occasion. Be available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends to meet member and business demands.

Requirements:

Education and Experience High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 5+ years' personal and commercial lines experience with an independent insurance agency strongly preferred. Certifications Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license. Must have a valid Florida driver's license and pass a background check. Skills and Attributes Strong knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products as well as risk assessment practices. Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships. Familiarity with agency management systems and CRM tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized, self-motivated and results driven. Ability to multitask and operate effectively in a hybrid team environment.
