Job Description

Overview Youth Inspirations Theatre is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Studio & Production Operations Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our performing arts studio and productions. This position is ideal for someone who loves theatre, enjoys creating organized systems, works well with volunteers and families, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. ResponsibilitiesStudio Operations Open and prepare the studio for daily activities Ensure classrooms and common areas are organized and ready for students and instructors Perform light cleaning, trash removal, room setup, chair setup, and general studio upkeep Copy scripts, music, and production materials as needed Serve as the primary onsite contact for parents, students, instructors, and visitors Production Operations Organize and lead parent committees for productions Coordinate and oversee set and prop construction timelines Manage and organize production supplies and equipment Maintain inventory of sound equipment, stage supplies, and studio materials Communicate inventory and purchasing needs to leadership Manage and staff the tech booth for productions Coordinate merchandise ordering, inventory, and distribution Assist with production setup, front-of-house preparation, and performance operations Team Support Support instructors throughout classes, lessons, rehearsals, and productions Attend weekly staff meetings on Mondays at 11:00 AM Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for all families and students Schedule Typical schedule includes:
Mondays & Wednesdays:
Open studio by 4:15
PM Tuesdays & Thursdays:
Open studio by 4:30 PM Occasional Fridays for special classes and events Production weekends throughout the season Weekly staff meeting on Mondays at 11:00 AM During production weeks:
Monday:
Front of House meeting and beginning performance setup
Thursday:
Finalize performance and front-of-house setup
Friday-Sunday:
Performance support Qualifications Preferred candidates will: Be highly organized and self-motivated Have strong communication and leadership skills Be comfortable working with parents, students, volunteers, and staff Be dependable and able to work independently Have experience in theatre, performing arts, education, event management, or a related field (preferred but not required) Enjoy both hands-on work and organizational responsibilities About Youth Inspirations Theatre Youth Inspirations Theatre is a nonprofit performing arts school dedicated to enriching, empowering, and engaging young artists through high-quality theatre education and performance opportunities.
