VYPE Media , headquartered in Houston, Texas, is a sports media and technology company focused on bringing innovation and content to the youth and high school sports sector. VYPE is composed of several brands that provide a full-service tray of offerings to the youth and high school sector from film to athlete marketing. Our ultimate mission is to be the groundbreaking leader in the promotion and coverage of High School and Youth Sports. VYPE Live, a VYPE Media company, focuses on bringing high quality live audio and video broadcasts to the high school and youth sector. "We Bring Your Teams To You," that is our motto as we provide live coverage of all sports to the fans and the communities of our clients, as well as giving student-athletes, coaches and school communities the publicity and exposure they deserve. The Roles VYPE Live is searching for part-time Play-by-Play announcers and Producers to help us capture high school, college and youth-level athletic events all across Texas. Candidates must have a passion for sports and a solid grasp of the rules and nuances of the specific sport. We desire broadcasters who played the sport at the high school level or above, although this isn't a requirement. Experience announcing and/or producing audio events is highly desired but not required. Play-by-Play candidates need an energetic delivery, a quick wit, and a thorough understanding of the game. We're also looking for on-site Producers. The producers set up and operate audio and video equipment with the help of our remote QA team. Those hired will be trained by our broadcast professionals. The announcer and producer will team together to form a broadcast crew. Color commentators may be assigned for select game. We will provide training for all positions. These are part-time, contractor jobs. Interested parties should reply with their name, phone number, email address, relevant experience and general availability.
