WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a team member that can support achieving excellent secondary outcomes, including for college, career and military readiness, for students. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated impact on student outcomes, accelerating student growth, building strong systems anchored in multi-partner collaborations, building strong community relationships, and creating a culture of support and excellence. You will help break down barriers for students. You will provide direct support to students (e.g., mentoring, advising, programming, case management) while working collaboratively across programs and staff to ensure student success. You will be a primary advocate for students working to ensure they get the resources and support needed to meet postsecondary outcomes. In addition, you will coach teachers and staff, as needed, to improve systems and programs for student success. You will have to be skilled in adaptive change management in a very fast environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Film, Digital Media, or related field preferred Valid Texas Driver's License
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in videography, video production, digital media, or audiovisual communications required Experience supporting live events, athletics, or digital display systems preferred Experience producing content for social media or institutional communications preferred Special Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated proficiency in videography, video editing, and digital media production Experience using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, audio recording, and visual composition techniques Familiarity with digital display systems, video boards, or event production technology preferred Knowledge of social media platforms and digital content optimization Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in fast-paced environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours to support district events
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Media Production and Content Creation Capture video coverage of district events including athletic competitions, graduations, ceremonies, and district initiatives. Produce video content such as highlight reels, promotional videos, recap videos, and storytelling features highlighting student achievement and district programs. Edit video content for use across district platforms including social media, websites, board presentations, and community communications. Ensure all multimedia content aligns with district branding guidelines and communication standards. Event Videography Film district events as required by communications director to include athletics, fine arts, UIL, and other district competitions. Capture key moments such as signing ceremonies, playoff appearances, championship events, and student recognitions other district achievements. Utilize appropriate filming techniques, equipment, and camera angles to ensure professional quality recordings. Digital Display and Scoreboard Coordination Coordinate video and graphics content used on athletic scoreboards and digital boards across district campuses. Assist with preparation and deployment of video content displayed during games and events. Provide basic operational support and coordination to ensure digital display systems are functioning during events. Work with campus staff, athletics personnel, and vendors when technical support or troubleshooting is required. Strategic Communications Support Collaborate with the Communications Department to develop visual storytelling that highlights district priorities and initiatives. Identify and promote stories that reflect student leadership, perseverance, and achievement. Support College, Career, and Military Readiness initiatives by documenting scholarship announcements, signing events, and recognitions. Digital Media Management Optimize video content for engagement across district communication platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and district websites. Maintain organized digital archives of video footage, graphics, and multimedia assets. Ensure timely production and publication of event-related content. Collaboration and District Support Work collaboratively with Directors, campus administrators, coaches, and Communications staff to coordinate coverage of events. Support districtwide communications initiatives and special events as assigned. Ensure equitable and consistent coverage of campuses and district programs. Other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands Typical demands of an office environment, including extensive computer use and district-wide travel for meetings and events. Lifting and carrying of books, boxes, and audiovisual equipment, light (15-20 pounds), climbing, stretching, visual acuity, walking, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, sitting, kneeling, standing, and twisting, may be required to control behavior through physical restraint. Work Environment Primarily office-based with regular interaction with district staff, educators, students, families, and community members. Campus visits will be required as needed and as a part of ensuring program implementation with fidelity and monitoring of service delivery models. Attendance at evening or weekend events may be required. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Reading, supporting instruction, demonstrating computer skills appropriate for assignment, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with students, concentration (detailed work), interpretive skills (policy, procedure, dates), reasoning skills, understanding verbal instructions, analyzing, differentiating, memorizing, coordinating, compiling, and computing.

Starting Salary:
