This role is best suited for recent graduates or early-career creatives looking to build real production experience.

Timeline:

June 1, 2026 - End of October 2026 (~5 months)

In-person only (Virginia Beach)

Hours:

Minimum 20 hours/week, with frequent opportunities to work up to ~40 hours/week depending on production needsThis role is built for someone who wants to be fully immersed in production. Our schedule shifts based on shoots, weather, and client needs—flexibility and availability are essential.

What This Role Is:

This is a production-first position focused on real-world experience—not a classroom-style internship.

You will be part of our team on shoots and projects, contributing in meaningful ways while continuing to build your skills.

What You'll DoYou will wear many hats and be expected to step in wherever needed.

Creative + CaptureCapture photo and video content on shootsDevelop and apply a strong visual eyeAssist with still photography (growth toward independent shooting expected)On SetServe as a Production Assistant (PA) in various rolesAssist camera team (camera assist / 2nd shooter opportunities)Help with lighting, grip, and technical setupSupport audio when neededAssist with client and crew coordinationStep into any role needed (props, logistics, on-camera, etc.)Post + SupportAssist with photo organization, editing, and managementSupport footage handling, transfers, and basic post workflowsLight editing or creative support when appropriate (not the primary focus)What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone with a strong creative foundation—not a beginner.

You should already have experience through:

School (recent graduate or current/recent student), ORFreelance / personal work with a clear portfolioWe are not teaching from scratch. You should be able to step in, contribute, and grow quickly.

Early mornings (sunrise shoots)Evenings (sunset shoots)Occasional weekends (not every weekend)Most work happens during weekdays, but schedules shift frequently.

This role should be your top priority during the season. If you have another job, it must be flexible and work around a changing schedule. Rigid schedules (fixed classes, inflexible work blocks, etc.) are not a fit for this role.
