Our focus is on making the best espresso machines in the world, allowing our customers to serve the best coffee in the world. We currently employ roughly 40 persons in our Seattle HQ with aggressive growth targets for the coming years. The Production Manager position that is open Slayer Espresso is an exciting and active position in our Production that is integral to our success and growth. This position will report to our Chief Operations Office. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your energetic approach will inspire teams to meet ambitious goals while maintaining the highest quality standards. Join us to lead innovative production strategies that propel our organization forward and deliver outstanding results. Duties Implements standard work and maintains improvement through sustaining behaviours, operating with discipline and rigor, implementing autonomous maintenance. Oversees the production of quality products to fulfil customer requirements. Controls and effectively utilizes the production capacity, manpower and equipment and outside resources through planning, organizing and scheduling to minimize losses; works within the framework of the budget to optimize company profitability. Achieve departmental goals, build performance, KPIs, delivery, etc. Assist in assigning staffing to meet departmental goals and support production. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and obtain corrective actions utilizing the appropriate support staff. Provide daily communication with production staff regarding performance, areas for improvement, company news/updates, etc. Ensures parts are produced to appropriate quality level and ensures suspect product is contained and corrective actions and root cause analysis are underway Accurately completes all production documentation and data entry in a timely manner. Hold employees accountable to their job duties in a fair, consistent and professional manner. Suggest/recommend disciplinary action and assist with deployment when needed Assist with training employees on all aspects of their job and assist with creating training program. Act as backup for other supervisors when absent. Promotes team building and team environment.

Coordinate and supervise daily production activities to meet production schedules and quality benchmarks Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a secure working environment Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and resolve operational issues promptly Manage inventory levels, raw materials, and equipment maintenance to prevent delays and maximize efficiency Drive adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process Skills Proven experience in production management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges Deep understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure Effective communication skills for clear coordination across departments and with external partners Technical proficiency in manufacturing software systems and data analysis tools Join us as a Production Manager to energize our operations!
