We are seeking an individual who is ambitious, self-motivated and who strives to represent HAPO's core commitment "Be in the Moment" and standard of service "Defy Expectations" with our members, community as well as the team they are a part of. The Video Producer is responsible for overseeing and executing the full scope of video and animation production, from scriptwriting and videography through editing, audio design, and supporting graphics. This role truly wears many hats and is responsible for coordinating shoot times/locations, directing talent, and thriving with minimal oversight as a fast learner who takes direction well. In today's fast-evolving digital landscape, the Video Producer must continuously refine their craft and stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: Work with department heads and internal marketing team to plan and organize marketing campaigns Shoot and edit video content for marketing campaigns and promotions Create supporting video graphics such as title graphics, lower thirds, and animations Take photos and shoot, edit and produce video content for social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels. Design and create motion graphics Setup equipment including cameras, audio setup, lighting, and studio prep Create shot lists and direct talent on location Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate project requirements to team members and ensure successful outcomes Editing experience in professional software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment. A strong level of technical and creative design knowledge is needed as well as attention to detail Direct and collaborate with on-screen talent, ensuring that they deliver the best possible performance to achieve the desired outcome. Capture high-quality footage while adhering to established technical and creative standards. Work closely with the post-production team to ensure that captured footage meets the needs of the project and provide input on the editing process when needed. Maintain and manage all video equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and organization. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to travel to shoot locations and work events outside of business operating hours Ability to appropriately handle highly sensitive and/or confidential information Strong communication skills, remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines with accuracy and professionalism A self-starter skilled in planning and organizing own work, often with multiple assignments and competing priorities and deadlines with little or no supervision
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in the area of video editing/shooting/production Must have a valid Driver's license Ability to maintain a driving record that meets HAPO's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards as required job function.
Location:
On-Site Richland (WA) The role involves routine travel to various HAPO branches, including outlying regions.
Schedule:
Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week between the hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm M-F with occasional weekend hours. Starting Pay Range (DOE): $26.50 - $39.75 •Typically, Selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint range, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
