Job Description
Typesetter in Los Angeles As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and readable documents. This is a full-time position located in Los Angeles, with a salary of $1400. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in typesetting and must be able to work without accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to established guidelines
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in font, spacing, layout, and design
- Proofread documents for errors or discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and software updates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in typesetting or graphic design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of typography principles and design techniques
- Experience with
HTML/CSS
coding- Familiarity with print production processes
